A new world of NFT collection mechanics
Infernal Uprising is all about pioneering new types of NFT-gaming utility and on-chain game-card collection. We are excited to present to you our new card-collection mechanic: NFT fusing.
You will be able to receive rare and even fusing-exclusive NFTs by performing NFT fusing operations. In each operation you can choose two NFTs of the same rarity-level (= same number of rarity-stars) and burn them in order to have a chance of receiving one NFT of the next higher rarity level.
Each fusing attempt can either be successful or fail – determined by real on-chain randomness enabled through ShimmerEVMs unique random number generation. The chance of success can be dramatically increased (to up to 100%) by adding $FUSE token to your fusing operation. $FUSE token can only be used once and will also get burned in each operation. Please find the full fusing-success table below (table 1).
In case of success:
Your two initial NFTs and all used $FUSE token are burned and in turn you receive one NFT of the next higher rarity level. This NFT is randomly selected from within the next higher rarity level, but has an extremely increased chance to be a rare pick from within that next rarity-level. On top of that, some NFTs are available ONLY via fusing. They cannot be obtained in regular sales or via in-game unlocks.
In case of failure:
Your two initial NFTs and all used $FUSE token are burned and in turn you receive $FUSE token.
More details about fusing:
You receive more $FUSE the higher the rarity-level of your burned NFTs was (see table 2 below).
You need more $FUSE to increase the fusing-success chance when fusing NFTs of a higher rarity-level (see table 1 below).
You can use a maximum of [8 * Rarity-level of used NFTs] $FUSE tokens in any given fusing operation. Using this amount of $FUSE will give you a 100% fusing success chance.
If two shiny NFTs are used in a fusing attempt, there is 100% chance the new NFT will also be shiny. If one shiny NFT is used there is a 50% chance the new NFT will also be shiny.
Up to a certain point in time all fused cards will be branded “1st Edition”. After that, no new “1st Edition” NFTs can be created.
Note: $FUSE are ERC20 crypto token. They can be owned and traded just like any other ERC20 token.
